Catholic Community Hospice

Catholic Community Health provides holistic care, comfort, and support to address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients and families. As a ministry of the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas, our interdisciplinary team serves people of all faiths by offering guidance, peace of mind, and compassionate end-of-life care. Our goal is to care for the whole person—body, mind, and soul. We are, proudly, Kansas City's only Catholic Hospice.

Why hospice care?

According to the New England Journal of Medicine, patients receiving early hospice care experienced less depression, had better quality of life, and survived 2.7 months longer. Catholic Community Hospice can play a key role in managing physical symptoms of a disease and supporting patients and families emotionally and spiritually.

These guidelines ensure that the dignity of each person is paramount and our staff and volunteers offer an eternal perspective. Catholic Community Health is Kansas City's only Catholic Hospice provider.

We are proud to offer in-patient Hospice Care at the Our Lady of Grace Hospice House at Villa St. Francis. The Hospice House has a variety of options and amenities to meet your needs. We offer the warmth and security of home while a hospice patient can benefit from around-the-clock physical and medical care.
